The optional FVS-2 Voice Guide Unit allows users to:

  • Hear the current frequency of the “Main” Band; and
  • Record an incoming signal.

When installed it announces current operating frequency, announces a band change and APRS messages. It can also record up to 5 minutes of received audio for later playback.
