I just wanted to send you feedback on the trackers we have deployed on construction sites in the Calgary area. These trackers are taped onto 30′ spools of copper wire which are installed next to newly poured residential home foundations, making them a common target of thieves. We had installed 2 trackers on two different copper wire spools on construction sites in northwest Calgary. Early morning on October 12, 2024, we received two motion start alarms from the trackers fixed to copper wire spools on these construction sites. The trackers traveled several kilometers throughout northwest Calgary and we reported the theft to the police who were able to locate and stop the vehicle that was transporting the trackers and stolen copper wire, further investigation by the police revealed that in addition to the two stolen copper wire spools with trackers the suspect had also taken an additional three spools of copper wire from different construction sites in the same area. The value of the recovered copper wire is estimated at over $7,500.00. One person was arrested and charged with several criminal charges.

With the Active Tracking Plan, the tracker will report every one minute while in motion, while the with Anti-Theft Plan, the tracker will report every 15 minutes while in motion. When in Recovery Mode (only on Active Tracking Plan), tracking can be increased to every minute for up to 4 hours. Poll Position – request current location of tracker.
If the tracker is static inside the Geofence (Anti-Theft Zone), it will report back only once every day.
