Requiring only 60 ft. of overall length, they provide amazing DX performance at installation heights of only 35 ft. at the high end and 8 ft. at the low end. These antennas are pre-assembled and pre-tuned for an easy installation. DX-B sloper antennas cover 160, 80, 40 and 30 meters. The “top wire” covers 160, 80 and 40 meters. The parallel “underslung” wire covers 30 meters and may be removed or trimmed to 20 meters if desired.
Parallel sloper antennas utilize stainless steel hardware, 12-gauge solid copper wire, and efficient Alpha Delta “Iso-Res” RF choke coils. To gain the same broadband performance as the DX-As, the DX-Bs are also designed to be used with a wide-range antenna tuner, so no trimming or tweaking is necessary.
Here’s an efficient and compact antenna for 160, 80, 40 and 30 or 20 meters.
